EVERYONE ON THE SAME PAGE

Okay I’ve actually been fielded several question about what is going on here at Chronicles HQ.  So I’m going to answer them all right now.

1. I will be resuming my writing on the story next week after finals are over and hopefully manage a post next weekend if I’m lucky.

2. Negotiations with the cartoonist I mentioned are still under way.  Thank you again to the viewers who pointed out copyright concerns to me, and also a special thanks to “cutieboots7″ who informed that there is a legal difference between owning the IDEA of the character and owning the IMAGE of the character. We are now in negotiations with our respective councils about how to handle that legality so I will keep everyone posted on whether or not that project will go through.

3. Yes I actually do have a staff here of sorts its not just me. I just do most of the writing and they just edit for me and tell me how insane I am. ^^

4. No I still don’t have a date on when Into the Black will re-release mainly because of some issues I’ve been having here after a theft. Thank you again to the contributors (you know who you are) who sent in their own ideas to be added to the Into the Black anthology. Special thanks to E over at DeVry for help with the quantum physics!

Well we here at Chronicles have fallen in love with this kitty and her amazing story.  She is currently preparing to under go the first of 3, yes 3!, surgeries to correct her legs and we are asking for anyone who can to help her get the care she needs. Legalities

Okay I’ve had some questions posed to me personally by some of my readers (no one is in trouble!) about using some of my story elements or even my characters for their own things (mainly RP stuff and some other blogs even an artist).  As you are all aware all of my stories are under copyright of their respective authors.  I will be consulting with our in house lawyer about how I can arrange for those who have asked about using material for various uses (including a school teacher in Brazil of all places!).  Anyone else besides those who have been in contact with me recently please comment on this post or email me (should be able to using the contact me link if its not working let me know) and I will see what we can arrange about use of my material being able to be used WITHOUT compromising my copyright and having any serious issues.  Thank you to those who have shown such interest I’m happy to see my work has not been in vain.

Power is goneeeeee

There is no power here…or in like half of Jersey…so yeah….I had a bunch of posts getting ready to go and then this happens…thanks Sandy….thanks a lot lol. S’mores and hot chocolate available…well somewhere. See you all when the powers restored.

Restart Processes Engaged

Finally finding time again to do some writing, so starting this Saturday look for the next post in Chapter IX, and hopefully I can keep up with a Weekly, if not once every two weeks schedule.

Aurora Shootings

I have just finished going through all the articles on the reddit timeline about this tragic incident. Honestly I’m at a loss for words on the magnitude of this tragedy. All of us here at Chronicles and New Age of Politics send out our deepest condolences and prayers to the victims of Mr. Holmes attack at the premier of The Dark Knight Rises. While we cannot directly render aid beyond our own means, we encourage our fans and loyal viewers to help however they can. The Huffington Post has a list of possible ventures where you can contribute aid and help to the victims. I myself, along with several of our staff plan to attend blood drives that the (according to rumor) are being organized by the Red Cross around the country to increase the stock in national blood banks, we encourage our fans to join us in contributing to the Red Cross’ efforts to help the victims. Our fans in Colorado who wish to help should get in touch with their local Red Cross chapters.

Crime stoppers is also asking that anyone with information regarding Mr. Holmes actions, or other possible persons of interest (one or two possible sought by Denver PD, names have not been released as far as we are aware).

Battle of Sol

This is a story I had promised i would post ages ago! Hopefully you’ll all enjoy and it will keep you entertained for a bit, I’m hoping to finally get back to Chronicles sometime next week. So until then enjoy this little story.

Sol System

                Zenvek scowled into the main plot.  Despite nearly annihilating the entire Alliance Fleet over the course of the last 15 years, they had maintained a favorable kill ratio, in both numbers, and tonnage.  That was unacceptable.  His beak clicked nervously, wondering what new trick the enemy would use against him.

He paced the deck, razor sharp talons clicking on the cold metal of the deck plating.  “Plotting give me an estimate on how long it would take us to reach them.”

“Sire due to the current positions of our two fleets, it would take nearly two local days.”

Zenvek muttered a curse as he ran the numbers through his head.  “We have no options left, we must attack them!”  The other officers said nothing, for what the Fleet Lord said was law.  Slowly the juggernaut of the Krill Dominion pondered forward, seeking to come to grips with its foe.

Alright now that the silliness is finished, here’s the plan as it stands:

January 7th we’re hoping to get the first posts of the New Year up

February 4th we’re hoping to get Into the Black actually going

and sometime around March we’re looking at a change in staff (we’ll keep you posted on that)
